Wedding Dress Ideas: Latin Grammys Trends
The 13th annual Latin Grammys kicked off with high fashion statements. The event not only had winners inside the award show, but also on the red carpet. From playing it safe to some daring plunge lines, they were all winners in our book and you can be too on your big day! Incorporate one of these four trends into your wedding style to make an entrance like a celebrity on your own red carpet.
1. One-Shoulder Simplicity
Giselle Blondet wowed in her one-shoulder satin gown in deep red on the green carpet. Less is more when she completed the look with beautiful chandelier earrings and natural eye make-up. The one-shoulder dress will not only highlight your curves, but also grab the attention of all your guests. When wearing an elegant yet simple ensemble like Giselle, pair the gown with minimal accessories and a light pink lipstick to complete the natural look.
2. Off-the-Shoulder Elegance
One of Latin America’s biggest artists is none other than the beautiful Lucero, who made quite the statement in a dazzling gold and black off-the-shoulder gown. Go down the aisle in style with a wedding version of Lucero’s dress in a similar mermaid-esque silhoutte. The details on her dress are similar to elegant lace materials that play up the off-shoulder around the torso. For hair, up-do’s compliment this look by bringing the attention to the shoulders and neck. A cat-eye will make your eyes pop when applied with volume mascara.
3. V for Va-Voom
Alexandra Olavarria sparkled in her shimmery v-shaped neckline gown and luscious waves. This seductive v-shaped neckline is perfect for girls that are aiming to look seductive and sexy on their big day. Incorporate Olavarria’s look with your own daring neckline, straps are optional. Apply light pink blush for a beautiful cheeky glow and small earrings for a little surprise regardless if your hair is swept up in a ponytail with curls or beach waves like Alexandra.
4. Daring Designs
It wasn’t hard for Nelly Furtado to put her own twist on her cream colored patterned gown with long sleeves. Play up your wedding gown with intricate designs of lace, beading, or appliques! Don’t take away from the designs with excessive jewelry; an intricate necklace or bracelet compliments the look nicely without any extra fuss. Nude lips will help the wow factor of your eyes in smoky eye shadow.
Whether your dress is right off the runway or inspired by the beauties on the red carpet, you will be your own celebrity at your wedding. Which look is your favorite? Check out our Bridal Gown Gallery for more ideas.
